UnitedHealth Sees 30% Increase in Sales After Healthcare Reform

UnitedHealth Group Inc. saw second-quarter earnings increase 30% after the healthcare reform law was passed. Also, UnitedHealth’s enrollment in medical-benefit plans increased to 32.5 million from 32.1 million. Also, membership in Medicare Advantage policies increased 17% and Medicaid membership increased 14%.
